Rounding Workshop-Houston, Tx.

Rounding is comparable to industrial strength meditation, it's a practice that combines a sequence of yoga asanas, pranayama breathing exercises, meditation and rest. The asanas and breathing exercises set up your practice to eliminate stress on a deeper level so you can experience greater benefits outside the practice.

This workshop will guide you through the experience and provide you with detailed instruction and a take home program to integrate with your existing practice. No super-yogi flexibility required, it is recommended for Vedic meditators with at least three months of practice who are looking to deepen the benefits of meditation.

The course fee is $75, all you need to bring is a yoga mat and comfortable clothes. Space is limited. RSVP below for more details and location.

New Year's Group Meditation: Intention and Clarity

Intentions are directed impulses of consciousness that contain the seed form of that which you aim to create. They are the creative power behind all our desires, whether that be money, relationships, evolution or love. Getting clear on what those intentions are versus creating goals can help you manifest sustainable shifts for the New Year.

Next Sun. 12/30 from 6:30-8pm, I'll be hosting a special group meditation focusing on intention. Bring journal/pen for exercises as well as one piece of fruit and flowers for Puja. Free for existing Vedic meditators only.

Meditate. Appreciate./MNDFL Greenwich Village

This Mon. @ 7pm at MNDFL, Greenwich Village, I'll be reuniting with writer and life coach Caren Osten for a 90 min. workshop on the art of gratitude. In these tumultuous and technology-charged times, we sometimes forget to stop and give thanks, notice and appreciate the good in our lives. As meditation strengthens the mind-body connection, writing can help us to co-create what we’d like to see more of through the simple practice of gratitude. Come explore how to foster better connection and capacity to do better in challenging times.
