Advanced Courses

With continued practice, there are ways to deepen your experience and knowledge to support the overall experience of meditation.

After meditating for a year, students are also eligible and encouraged to receive an Advanced Technique which consists of an adjustment to your existing mantra and practice.

Advanced Techniques are designed to expand one’s awareness between our least excited state of thinking and pure awareness in meditation, which allows for greater restfulness and increased capacity for discernment in our waking state.

The instruction occurs in a 1 hour private session with a 30 minute follow-up, scheduled at your convenience. Course fee is $150 with a portion of proceeds going to land regeneration projects in India.

Rounding is a practice designed to reverse the effects of hyper-focus and concentration to purify the physiology and mind on a deep level. Composed of a specific series of asana, pranayama, meditation and lie down, it is comparable to industrial strength meditation. The simplicity of the technique produces powerful results. And practicing multiple ‘rounds’ in a weekend retreat setting can help strengthen the healing aspects for both body and mind.

Rounding Workshop

  • This two hour workshop will guide you through the program with detailed instruction; the first hour is an exploration of the asanas and Pranayama while the second hour is a group Round that concludes with a take home program for your convenience.

Rounding does not require any prior experience in yoga asana, pranayama, flexibility, or coordination. It is recommended for meditators with at least three months of practice who are looking to deepen the benefits of meditation.

The course fee is $108, and all you need to bring is a yoga mat and comfortable clothes. Done online or in-person

The Veda is an ancient body of knowledge that is the source of yoga, Ayurvedic medicine, Indian philosophy, as well as this particular style of meditation. The word Veda is from the root word ‘vid’, which means ‘to know.’ Veda translates to knowledge. What we are studying is one of the oldest systems of Knowledge that is concerned with the gross layers of life we are experiencing as well as how the function of Nature supports evolution within that relative experience.

Intro to Vedic Wisdom

  • An Intro to Vedic Wisdom consists of four weekend lectures explored through the context of modern living. During the first installment, you will learn an advanced meditation technique called Rounding as well as another other advanced technique to supplement your existing practice. We will also answer questions and discuss some of the knowledge being presented to help you integrate and provide a context for your own personal experience.

The course was constructed to be taken in sequential installments over the course of a weekend. It is recommended that students treat each weekend as a non-residential retreat. If an installment isn't offered at a particular time it is possible to arrange home study. Also, it is not required to take all four installments, you may take each one individually as you feel inclined to do so.

The course fee is $400 for each module or $1,500 for all four sessions, which includes all instruction and course materials for all three days of the course. A payment program is also available upon request.
